#MindfulMonday is a video series on IGTV and YouTube that I began as a place to discuss topics of self-development, mental health and sharing reminders of positivity.
It’s often frowned upon to big up your accomplishments and celebrate yourself excessively, but how about if we’re looking at it all wrong? How about if the highlight reels of social media are just messing it up and it could actually be good for us?
I go through 3 reasons why celebrating yourself can actually be a good thing in this week’s #MindfulMonday, check it out!
As mentioned in the video I mentioned @hypedocsco by @aashnisshah (www.hypedocs.co).
Your gifts are for the world
The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away. – Pablo Picasso
We are talking all about the responsibility you have with the unique gifts you’ve been blessed with, genius and leaning into your natural abilities.
What advice would you give someone younger than you? 🤔
I asked across my social media accounts “what advice would you give someone younger than you?” and these are some of the responses I received.
Remember you got time to live fully and unapologetically.
Don’t sweat the small stuff 💛
I’ve been having conversations with people feeling like they should be way ahead of where they are or lowkey regretting the choices they made. This video is me thinking out loud about the shoulda, woulda, coulda moments of our lives and why you are exactly where you need to be.
I was inspired by watching Tracee Ellis Ross speaking about her dream of being a singer as a child and how fear stopped her from embarking on that journey. Fear stops us all from fulfilling our dreams and today I’m discussing how we need to face the unknown to get to where we dream to be.
