“Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.”
―J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
This world is so unpredictable, most of us are anxious about what happens next and rightly so. However, I don’t remember signing a contract that guaranteed me a stress free life and I know that you don’t have control over what comes next. What I’ve come to realise is that it isn’t about whether the glass is half empty or half full, it is about what you do with the cards you have been dealt right now. Call me naïve or deluded, but truly I would prefer a reformed pessimist, a born again hippie, maybe an old soul, point being it is all in your mindset. If you believe that you deserve greatness in all aspects of your life and you have faith in something greater than yourself, you will be be fearless. No one can touch you when you exude authenticity and you have let go of the past and future and live in the present.
I refuse to believe that we live in vain and that we were placed on this Earth to be miserable. Out of all of the billions of biological combinations and series of moments it took for us to be, we became in such uniqueness and if that isn’t extraordinary I truly don’t know what is. You are here for a reason, and you get to perfect that journey with the master planner. It happens at the point where you feel this inner peace and balance within yourself, an acceptance of who you are and where you are in this time and place. When this happens and you trust yourself, and embrace vulnerability wholeheartedly, thats when all the fears and voices of doubt get silenced. You’re unstoppable because you recognise that you cannot do this by yourself. There is no success on your own, there is no such thing as luck. There is only what the past taught you and how that prepared you for the opportunity that presents itself.
You stay winning when despite uncertainty you are willing to keep moving forward, and hustling for what you believe you deserve. You sleep sound at night because you have come to realise that all of the worry in the world won’t change your circumstance, but knowing you give each and every day 110% does. We are an ever evolving canvas and appreciating that means that we accept that the road ahead is a long and bumpy one, but the journey is worth every second.
God doesn’t make mistakes and you have a place on this Earth that you need to figure out. Once you know what you bring to the world (because we all bring something) and what your purpose is, the easier it will be to just knock down all the walls that make your head feel heavy.
“there is no better feeling than when you are exactly who you are without a mask and you say exactly what you feel and mean with no filter”
Appreciate that no matter how many people have better circumstances than you there are many who have worse, so remain thankful to be here. Trust in that voice that dreams because that is your truth! Stay fearless, keep your head up and until next time stay Qaali.
